He was founding Washington bureau chief of Money Laundering Alert; an editor of three B2B newsletters on financial institution regulation; and Washington editor of Financial Planning and Trader's magazines. Kimery also was a Washington correspondent for the Paris-based Intelligence Newsletter; a columnist for The Veteran; and managing editor of Kerrigan Media International, a Washington publisher of magazines covering military and defense. Kimery also served as managing editor of SOURCES, a San Francisco-based security intelligence news service, a founding contributing writer for Homeland Defense Journal and a contributing writer for Insight, a current affairs magazine published by The Washington Times Co. Kimery has written for The Washington Post, Wired, Vietnam, Common Cause, SAGA, and the Investigative Reporters & Editors Journal, to name a few. His reporting has been cited in numerous books, scholarly papers, reprinted in military publications and picked up by mainstream US media. Kimery has appeared on numerous TV and radio talk shows and was featured in a foreign intelligence documentary.
