Adapx, Seattle, Wash.. a developer of data collection and collaboration software, has announced that the Center for Commercialization of Advanced Technology (CCAT) in San Diego has awarded Adapx with a Department of Defense 1401 Program grant to extend Capturx solutions into the first responder community.

First responders and emergency teams across the country use Capturx software for digital pens to instantly collect and share handwritten data on forms and maps with other agencies and officials for improved collaboration, response, and preparedness. The new funding will be used to implement Capturx solutions in new data collection and collaboration scenarios with first responder teams.
