Avigilon, Vancouver, Canada, a developer of high definition and megapixel video surveillance systems, has announced the appointment of Michael Hodor as the company’s senior sales director for Western North America, Latin America, and Asia Pacific regions. A top performing sales executive and manager with sixteen years sales experience in the security industry, Hodor is responsible for driving sales and increasing awareness for Avigilon’s award winning high definition (HD) surveillance solutions within these regions.

Before joining Avigilon, Hodor was the vice president of sales for North America at Arecont Vision, where he managed the company’s top growth region. Prior to Arecont Vision, Hodor also held senior positions with Sentex Systems, Controlled Products Systems Group, and The Kohler Company. Hodor is a graduate of Columbia College in Los Angeles, California with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and has also studied at Arizona State University.
