Battelle, Columbus, Oh., an independent research and development organizationand RCM Solutions, Bowie, MD, a management services provider, have teamed under a $2.1-million task order to conduct information sharing exercises for leaders and officials
across some of the 18 key industry and economic sectors. The exercises are part of the United States Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) continued commitment to increase preparedness across key stakeholders and partners, and will help protect the nation's critical infrastructure in the event of a terrorist attack or natural disaster.
The five-year DHS Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract allows RCM to bid on specific tasks relating to policy development, project management, communications support, meeting support, readiness training, and infrastructure and incident management support. The primary objective of the exercises is to facilitate discussions regarding information sharing on protection, response and recovery from potentially catastrophic events.
