FITGov's mission is to provide a resource to collaborate and exchange best practices around governing advanced technology before it governs us. FITGov provides the best guidance and professionals to discuss the governance, enterprise architecture (EA), IT security, IT acquisition, and strategic planning from both the public and private sector, to assure America remains at the cutting edge of implementing advanced technology.

 

FITGov collaborations seek to:

• attract creative, collaborative leaders from the public and private sector to share best practices, information, innovations, and ideas to improve, refine, and enhance existing processes or develop new ones to meet mission goals;

• provide resources and mentoring for all size agencies;

• assure the highest integrity in the stewardship of tax payer dollars;

• support integrity, leadership, and mentoring of peers in the community;

• represent, support, and herald diversity, equity, and inclusion among the many talented professionals in the FITGov community.
