Dr. Bill Anderson

Dr. Bill Anderson is President of CIS Mobile, a subsidiary of CIS Secure Computing. He has most recently served as Vice President, Technology Investments at Allied Minds where he managed a portfolio of information security, quantum, and semiconductor design companies. Bill has held executive roles in product management and marketing at several public and private technology companies. He has served as Vice Chairman of Maryland TEDCO, a $110 million early stage investment company. Bill has extensive experience in developing and marketing hardware, software, and intellectual property and is an expert on security in the mobile ecosystem. He founded Oculis Labs, an innovative data-in-use security company and served as CEO until it was acquired by Optio. At Optio he first served as Chief Product Officer and then CEO as it introduced a groundbreaking security platform for Android. He has previously served as Vice President, Encryption Products for SafeNet Inc., where he drove OEM networking and mobile product strategy and managed SafeNet’s line of encryption products. He also directed product management and marketing at Aether Systems and Certicom, where he managed highly successful elliptic curve cryptography and communications product lines.
