Christian J. Blank

Christian J. Blank currently serves as a Special Assistant with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Prior to joining DHS, he worked in international relations with the Hanns Seidel Foundation Washington Office and the European Parliament Liaison Office, engaging international partners on issues relating to national security, trade, migration, counterterrorism, data, privacy, and civil liberties. He also has prior experience in the private sector working with Booz Allen Hamilton on their Wargaming Team. Christian earned his undergraduate degree in 2016 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, triple majoring in Political Science, International Studies, and German with a Certificate in European Studies. In 2019, he completed the Security Studies Master’s Program at Georgetown University. He is currently earning a Certificate in Homeland Security Intelligence from the National Intelligence University.
