K. Denise Rucker Krepp
K. Denise Rucker Krepp is a private consultant and advocate. She advises businesses and non-profit organizations on homeland security, transportation, military justice, and sexual harassment reform related matters.
Ms. Krepp began her career as an active duty Coast Guard officer. After September 11, 2001, Ms. Krepp helped create the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security. She also served as Senior Counsel on the House of Representatives Homeland Security Committee. During the first Obama Administration, Ms. Krepp was the Maritime Administration Chief Counsel and Special Counsel to the U.S. Department of Transportation General Counsel.
Additionally, Ms. Krepp is a locally elected official in Washington, DC. In this role she, Ms. Krepp represents the Hilleast community on matters before the DC Council, local DC agencies, and the federal government. Ms. Krepp successfully worked with the U.S. Department of Justice to make prosecution data related to DC area crimes available to the public.
