Eric Trexler is an experienced cybersecurity expert who is currently serving as Senior Vice President, Public Sector at Palo Alto Networks. He has nearly three decades of experience working with public and private sector leaders to modernize their technology operations and defend against increasing threats. Eric was named a 2024 Top Cyber Executive to Watch by WashingtonExec, was named to the ExecutiveMosaic Wash100 in 2023, and has been recognized several times as a Federal IT influencer by FedTech Magazine. In his role with Palo Alto Networks, Eric empowers federal, state, and local government agencies, along with K-12 and higher education organizations, to amplify their cybersecurity efforts without compromising their mission. Eric has a deep understanding of organizations’ diverse cybersecurity challenges and helps his customers deploy innovative, end-to-end solutions while navigating the complex regulatory landscape.
