Dr. Harriet M.J. Smith

Dr Harriet M. J. Smith is an Independent Research Fellow in Psychology at Nottingham Trent University. Having completed her PhD in face-voice matching in 2016, Harriet now specializes in identity discrimination in forensic and security settings. Her current work focuses on novel face matching procedures, voice lineup procedures, and forensic voice discrimination. Harriet has published a range of articles on face and voice identification, and her work has been funded by The British Academy and the Economic and Social Research Council.
