Mike Downing

Mike Downing is the US law enforcement advisor at Fivecast, providing digital intelligence solutions used by the national security, law enforcement, defense, corporate security, and financial intelligence sectors. Mike’s extensive 35 years of experience includes serving as the Deputy Chief of the Los Angeles Police Department and Commanding Officer of the department’s Counter-Terrorism and Special Operations Bureau where he led five operational divisions. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, Post Command College, Naval Post Graduate Executive Program, Senior Management Institute for Police at Boston, and the FBI’s Leadership in Counter-Terrorism (LinCT). He currently serves as an advisory board member for the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) and Local Anti-Terrorism Training Program (SLATT). Contact him at [email protected]
