Sharon L. Cardash

Sharon L. Cardash is deputy director of Auburn’s Center for Cyber and Homeland Security. As a core member of the senior leadership team of the Center for Cyber and Homeland Security, Sharon L. Cardash has played a key role in growing the Center's issue portfolio, profile, and impact, in the United States and internationally. Since joining the Center in 2005, Cardash has generated many of its signature products, and designed or managed many of its marquee activities, together with internal and external partners—including stakeholders in academia, the U.S. government, the private sector, and the diplomatic community. Before joining the Center, Cardash served as Security Policy Advisor to Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. Prior to that, she worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC, where she managed task forces on counterterrorism and cybersecurity.
