Harkcon, Inc. won the 14th annual 2018 DHS Small Business Achievement Award, with Harkcon, Inc. Vice President and COO Keith Curran and Senior Program Manager John Knox on hand to receive the award.
Harkcon was recognized for its superior project management, analytical services, communications support services, and expert consultation on issues related to a comprehensive review and establishment of the locations, functions, and responsibilities for Coast Guard personnel and administration offices around the country.
The company was responsible for ensuring the alignment of the personnel and administration offices with Coast Guard Servicing Personnel Offices as well as defining the customer base for each location.
Since 2005, Harkcon has performed a critical role in the analysis, development, and refinement of human resource policies, procedures, and tools that support the effective management of all parts of the Coast Guard workforce including approximately 40,000 military members, 8,000 Ready Reservists, and 9,000 civilians.
