General Dynamics Awarded $2 Billion U.S. Department of State Global Supply Chain Contract

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) announced July 9 that it has won a $2 billion contract to continue managing the U.S. Department of State global technical security supply chain.

Eric Welling has left his position at the FBI’s Cyber Division to join consulting giant Accenture, a company spokesperson told Homeland Security Today. He spent more than 20 years at the FBI and was most recently deputy assistant director of the bureau’s Cyber Division.
