Since 2016, Fogarty has been the chief of staff for U.S. Cyber Command; before that, he was the commanding general for the Cyber Center of Excellence and Fort Gordon in Georgia.

Atkins, a native of San Antonio, served as the 14th District commander from May 2015 to May 2018. He will be retiring with more than 36 years of service and returning to Texas.

White was previously assigned as the Seventeenth District Chief of Enforcement, where he oversaw all Coast Guard law enforcement and ports and waterways security missions across the state of Alaska.

Brown worked for Sikorsky Aircraft as the lead researcher on weapons controls for the Comanche helicopter. He was responsible for overseeing a team of researchers and programmers involved in developing the complex integrated fire control algorithms for the multiple weapon systems on the Comanche.

He was nominated to permanently fill the role in November but has not been confirmed by the Senate.

At his confirmation hearing, Pompeo said he is grateful to President Trump for the job and he is looking forward to "representing him and the American people to the rest of the world to further America’s prosperity.”

Since the current sector commander's arrival in 2015, the sector has been involved in the rescue of 380 lives, inspection of 3,300 commercial vessels and coordination of response to 670 oil sighting reports.
