ThinAir Named a Hot Vendor 2016 for Big Data and Predictive Applications by Aragon Research

ThinAir announced that it has been recognized as a “Hot Vendor 2016” by research firm Aragon Research, the leading research and advisory services firm focusing on work and people. ThinAir was honored in the “Big Data andPredictive Applications” category.

Each year, Aragon Research selects its Hot Vendors across multiple markets that are changing the industry with a fresh and unique approach. Through its report, Aragon recognizes that enterprises are increasingly turning to predictive applications to create more efficient organizations. This has given rise to a completely new set of providers, like ThinAir, that analyze and protect corporate data through advanced machine learning. Aragon Research chose to highlight ThinAir for its execution in combining intelligent data analytics and security.

Aragon’s Hot Vendor report states: "What makes ThinAir hot is combination of content/data protection combined with predictive analytics to prevent and mitigate potential attacks. Their two-pronged approach can provide insight into threats and also help to stop them before the content or data is compromised."

“We’re honored to have our work recognized by Aragon Research,” said Tony Gauda, CEO of ThinAir Labs. “We just came out of stealth mode in July and are inspired by the immediate positive reaction to our product from the analyst community.”

ThinAir launched out of stealth mode at Black Hat 2016 to immense customer interest, especially targeting Fortune 500 enterprises and large government organizations. On the ThinAir platform, admins gain incredible visibility into their organization’s data, security capabilities over how files are accessed and shared, and have powerful investigative tools that can pinpoint where, when, and how data is breached – all in real-time.

“This report is further validation that our data-centric approach to security is exactly where the market is heading,” added Gauda. “As the network perimeter continues to disappear, enterprises and analysts will continue to see a demand for security products that provide the immediate and measurable value ThinAir offers.”
