Ambit Group Secures 3 Task Orders Under DHS EAGLE II

Three task orders under the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading-Edge Solutions II (EAGLE II) contract were awarded to The Ambit Group for program and project management services to drive efficiencies in IT investments for the DHS Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), US Citizenship and Immigration Services’ (USCIS) Office of Information Technology (OIT) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

The total value of these task orders is over $28 million, if all options are exercised.

Under the first task order, Ambit will provide program monitoring and control assessment services to support the DHS OCIO initiative for ensuring the successful delivery of major IT investments, which includes moving DHS beyond traditional performance measurements and evaluation approaches to offer a portfolio of integrated and best practice-based program management, acquisition lifecycle, enterprise architecture and systems engineering lifecycle capabilities.

In support of the USCIS OIT, Ambit will provide executive-level management services to include priority project reporting, strategic engagement, program management framework development and planning and maintenance of applicable deliverables.

In support of FEMA’s Disaster Management (DM) e-Government Initiative to meet the nation’s need for improved emergency management response through more effective and efficient interoperable data communications, Ambit will provide the services and resources necessary to support the Program Management Office (PMO) in ensuring the successful administration and implementation of the DM initiatives.

“For over a decade, we have enabled our clients to increase operational efficiency and recover tens of millions in costs by delivering more agile program management and IT investment support. We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to expand this support across DHS OCIO, USCIS OIT and FEMA,” said Kim Hayes, co-founder and CEO of The Ambit Group.
