Register Now for CISA’s Live Streaming Event Covering The People’s Republic of China Cyber Threats

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) is inviting stakeholders and the public to stay engaged through its live streaming events. CISA Live!, a series of 30-minute, topical discussions hosted on LinkedIn Live, aims to provide in-depth insights into CISA’s mission and current issues related to cyber and physical critical infrastructure security and resilience.

Upcoming Event on July 31

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, July 31, as CISA hosts a crucial CISA Live! event focusing on one of the most significant threats to U.S. critical infrastructure: cyber threats backed by the People’s Republic of China (PRC). This event will feature CISA Executive Director Brandon Wales, who will discuss the risks that critical infrastructure entities need to be aware of and the strategies to mitigate these risks.

This session is particularly timely as PRC-backed cyber actors are increasingly pre-positioning themselves within U.S. infrastructure networks, posing a deeply concerning threat. The discussion will highlight CISA’s ongoing efforts to detect, prevent, and defend against these cyber threats. Attendees will gain valuable information about the tools, technical assistance, and resources available through CISA to help protect critical infrastructure.

Event Details:

Date: Wednesday, July 31
Time: 11:00 AM EDT
Platform: LinkedIn Live

Critical infrastructure owners and operators, stakeholders, and all interested participants are encouraged to join this event to learn more about safeguarding against PRC-backed cyber threats. The session will also include a live Q&A segment, offering attendees the opportunity to pose their questions directly to CISA experts.
