Protecting Our Nation’s Chemical Security with CISA’s Kelly Murray

July 28th marked the one year since Congress failed to re-authorize CFATS (Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards) Therefore, CISA cannot require facilities to report their chemicals of interest or submit any information in CSAT, perform inspections, or provide CFATS compliance assistance, amongst other activities.

HSToday sat down with Kelly Murray, the Associate Director of Chemical Security at CISA to discuss the impacts of the lapse of this program on America.
