NAVY
FlightSafety Services Corp., Centennial, Colorado, is awarded a $13,344,850 modification (P00013) to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N61340-18-C-0019) for aircrew training services in support of the TH-57B/C community, including instruction, operation and curriculum support. Work will be performed at Naval Air Station, Whiting Field, Florida, and is expected to be completed in October 2020. No funds are being obligated at time of award. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Florida, is the contracting activity.
EnergySolutions Services Inc., Oak Ridge, Tennessee, is being awarded a $13,001,962 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide services for recycling and volume reduction of radioactive/nuclear waste in support of Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia. This contract includes options, which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $67,437,525. Work will be performed in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and expected to be completed by October 2020. If all options are exercised, work will continue through October 2024. Fiscal 2020 operation and maintenance (Navy) funding in the amount of $1,500 will be obligated at time of award to satisfy the guaranteed minimum and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Federal Business Opportunities website, with one offer received. Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N42158-20-D-E001).
Leebcor Services LLC,* Williamsburg, Virginia, is being awarded an $8,451,462 firm-fixed-price task order (N69450-20-F-0700) under a multiple award construction contract for the design and construction of B868 overhaul at Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida. The work to be performed provides for addressing ongoing building envelope maintenance concerns, specific heating, ventilation, and air conditioning modification/upgrades and electrical service and system upgrades. Work will be performed in Jacksonville, Florida, and is expected to be completed by April 2021. Fiscal 2020 working capital funds in the amount of $8,451,462 are obligated on this award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Two proposals were received for this task order. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southeast, Jacksonville, Florida, is the contracting activity (N69450-16-D-1113).
Austal USA LLC, Mobile, Alabama, is awarded an $8,171,202 firm-fixed-price modification to delivery order N69316-19-F-5202 against previously-awarded basic ordering agreement N00024-16-G-2218 to accomplish the post-shakedown availability and dry docking for USNS Burlington (T-EPF 10). This effort encompasses all of the manpower, support services, material, non-standard equipment and associated technical data and documentation required to prepare for and accomplish the USNS Burlington (T-EPF 10) post-shakedown availability and dry docking. The purpose of this task is to implement the 10-knot Sea State 5 bow modification on EPF 10. The modification includes all design and review efforts to satisfy American Bureau of Shipping requirements for High Speed Naval Craft classification, to include a new safe operating envelope for EPF 10 (increasing the safe operating envelope to allow for 10-knot speed at Sea State 5 in all headings). Work will be performed in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and is expected to be completed by February 2020. Fiscal 2013 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funding in the amount of $4,085,601 will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion, and Repair Gulf Coast, Pascagoula, Mississippi, is the contracting activity.
AIR FORCE
Goodrich Corp. – Collins Aerospace, Westford, Massachusetts, has been awarded a $9,913,774 fixed-firm contract modification (P00049) to previously awarded contract FA8620-12-C-4020 for the spare parts buy for DB-110 reconnaissance pods. This modification provides for the purchase of a necessary additional quantity of spare parts for the Reconnaissance Systems Program in support of the Royal Saudi Air Force DB 110 pods. Work will be performed in Worcestershire, United Kingdom; and Westford, Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 21, 2021. This contract involves 100% foreign military sales to Saudi Arabia. The total cumulative face value is $174,259,432. Foreign Military Sales funds in the amount of $9,913,774 are being obligated at the time of the award. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
ARMY
UPDATE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District, announces six additional awards against a June 26, 2019, multiple award task order contract for horizontal construction services in support of the Department of Homeland Security Rio Grande Valley, Laredo, Del Rio, Big Bend and El Paso Border Patrol sectors; and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Southwestern Division and South Pacific Division. No additional funding is being added to the $5,000,000,000 contract.
