eGlobalTech Wins DHS FOIA Contract

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Privacy Office (PRIV) has awarded a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Support Services contract to eGlobalTech (eGT), an information technology, cyber security, and management consulting firm.

eGT has been providing FOIA business support services to DHS PRIV since 2015, and has been selected to continue to provide support under a new four-year contract.

The firm will help DHS reduce its FOIA backlog and meet other FOIA reduction goals, according to a news release.

“Our team has done an outstanding job. We helped reduce FEMA’s FOIA backlog by over 85% in 12 months. Our team looks forward to continuing to help DHS meet its FOIA reduction goals,” said Joseph Zimmerman, executive vice president of operations and delivery at eGlobalTech, in a news release.
