Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Officer Michael Cassabria sadly passed away Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, after contracting COVID-19. He was 41-years-old.
Cassabria joined TSA in October 2019 as a checkpoint TSA officer at Philadelphia International Airport. He also served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve. Known by his colleagues as a quiet and friendly person, Cassabria enjoyed working with computers and technology.
Cassabria is the 15th TSA employee to pass away after contracting COVID-19.
