Coast Guard Mutual Assistance Increases Lapse Assistance

Coast Guard Mutual Assistance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting active-duty, retired and civilian USCG employees, announced an additional increase in CGMA lapse assistance: Up to $1,500 for personnel with dependents, and up to $1,000 for personnel without dependents.

“As donations continue to pour in, we will continue to evaluate the maximum amount that a member may borrow. There is no limit to the number of loans that a member may request from CGMA; only a total loan ceiling.” Apply for assistance here
