On 21 December I was honored to be in the Oval Office for the signing of a new law creating the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office within DHS. CWMD has a critical mission supporting the DHS Front Line Operators and First Responders. We monitor emerging WMD threats, conduct planning to ensure that we identify gaps and develop solutions for field operations. We need to hire about 100 new employees this year. We are looking for those with experience in WMD intelligence, law enforcement, special operations, EOD, tactical medicine, acquisition and business operations. Most of the positions are in the DC area but we have a handful in other part of the country. in a few days I will send out an email address for those interested to send resumes to. Start spreading the word, we have an important mission and need people with the right experience.
