Cybersecurity firm McAfee announced Thursday that its McAfee MVISION Portfolio Family of device-to-cloud security technologies and McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator on Amazon Web Services have been added to the approved product list under the Department of Homeland Security’s Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation program.
McAfee said that the addition is timely, as government agencies continue to focus their efforts on cybersecurity.
“McAfee has been committed to the CDM program since its inception, and offering agencies our highly-rated McAfee MVISION portfolio is an important milestone,” said Kenneth Kartsen, McAfee vice president of public sector. “We urge our federal customers to utilize the MVISION portfolio to feel empowered against an expanding threatscape.”

The CDM program began in 2013, in partnership with the General Services Administration to provide a “consistent government-wide set of information security continuous monitoring tools and services at a reduced cost that enhances the government’s ability to identify and mitigate the the impact of emerging cyber threats.”
