The Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) will jointly showcase their cybersecurity capabilities and technology solutions at Mobile World Congress Los Angeles 2019 from October 22-24.
CISA leads the national effort to defend critical infrastructure against the threats of today, while working with partners across all levels of government and in the private sector to secure against the evolving risks of tomorrow. To ensure the nation has a strong mobile security defense, S&T works to identify and develop technology solutions that can bring game-changing impacts to mobile device end-users across the U.S. government, private sector and international partners.
S&T research partners will demonstrate 11 mobile security technology solutions ready for pilot deployment and commercialization and a representative of the Office of Industry Partnerships will show booth visitors how to engage with S&T on research and development (R&D) projects.
Senior CISA leaders will present talks in the booth about various aspects of the agency’s mobile security mission, including .govCAR and the 5G Rural Engagement Initiative.
