IDnow Launches AI Verification Product

IDnow, provider of Identity Verification-as-a-Service solutions, has announced an Artificial Intelligence (AI) identity verification product – AutoIdent Substantial. The product is approved for certification to meet the European Union’s regulation for identification services (eIDAS).

AutoIdent Substantial offers digital identity verification with a range of features and customizable additions. These include ID document verification, authenticity check, liveness / biometric detection, optional agent review, and the optional capability for an Advanced Electronic Signature (AES).

IDnow says health insurances or healthcare providers will particularly benefit from the system for sophisticated Know Your Customer (KYC) use cases such as customer portal onboarding, access to electronic health records or issuance of health insurance cards. The system is designed to meet the security requirements of public authorities with a wide range of both regulated and non-regulated KYC use cases for public services.
