The Government Technology & Services Coalition announced today that Michelle Scheuerman, Vice President, Advanced Technical Solutions, and Lyndsey Hoe, Senior Director of Business Development for GTSC member Dev Technology Group, will engage as Co-Chairs of the esteemed Lion’s Den, GTSC’s subject matter group around mid-tier government contractor growth. Lyndsey and Michelle bring a wealth of energy, strategic acumen, and business intelligence to this leadership role.
“Mid-tier companies face an uphill battle against multibillion-dollar integrators – the Lion’s Den affords them an opportunity to network, meet small businesses in the Coalition, and strategize about how to leverage our organization to ensure a competitive market filled with value-add government contractors,” said Kristina Tanasichuk, CEO of GTSC. “Mid-tier is not a dead-end and we’re here to help companies to continue to succeed. Founded alongside GTSC over a decade ago, the Lion’s Den focuses on ideas and solutions for successful small businesses to continue their growth despite becoming “other than small.”
Since 2011, the group has continued to grow nearly as fast as the small business membership within GTSC. Mid-tier companies in the group launched an education campaign at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to increase awareness and brand recognition around the value of awarding to mid-tier firms.
“We are an action-oriented emerging large business and have turned to GTSC to forward several initiatives. Given our success, we decided to join the leadership to make the environment better for all mid-tier companies,” said Vice President Michelle Scheuerman. “We are determined to ensure that our government partners do not lose their investment in us as a small business just because we succeed!”
The group meets quarterly and as needed to consult with government partners, strategize, and pursue campaigns to increase competition in bidding, find eligible small business partners, and network for collaborative business partnerships.
Ms. Scheuerman is a client-focused, experienced leader with a demonstrated ability to deliver innovative solutions on time and within budget. With Dev Technology for nearly 10 years, she has over 25 years of experience supporting a variety of Federal, State, and local government clients with previous firms including HP Enterprise Services and EDS.
With Dev Technology for the past 4 years, Ms. Hoe is an experienced Business Development and Capture Management professional with 13 years of demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry with Dev Technology, Leidos, and Lockheed Martin. Skilled in relationship and capture management, tactical and strategic planning, proposal development, and team building, she will be a stellar addition to GTSC’s leadership.
