GTSC Releases Annual Report, Sees 20% Growth

The Government Technology & Services Coalition, the foremost organization for government contractors in the homeland security mission space, last night released its 2018 Annual Report at their #HomelandHeroes awards celebration.

The theme: Progress Toward Mission Together highlights the industry outreach, and collaboration successes of the organization — only in its seventh year. Topping over 200 members in 2018, GTSC grew by 20% and has attracted some of the foremost companies in the nation. The organization has also attracted some of the most innovative and creative small business contractors working on the homeland security mission.

“We are humbled by the outpouring of support for our mission in the homeland community. We work daily to bridge the communication gap and lack of understanding between those who are accountable for the mission, and those who support them to achieve it. I believe our programs have caught on because they work, and they help both sides understand and execute the mission better. Our work, our mission, has always been to make us all better so that our nation is safer” said Kristina Tanasichuk, CEO & Founder, at the release.

GTSC was founded in 2011 by small business CEOs in the homeland security market to find ways to improve procurement and acquisition of innovative technologies, give small businesses a voice in the federal market, and provide a trusted community for those tasked with securing the country.  The organization has evolved to represent the ecosystem of the homeland security market with small, mid-tier, and large companies engaged to collaborate, mentor, and network to achieve mission.

“I’d been a part of many other organizations but have really dedicated myself and my company to GTSC because of their devotion and focus on the mission of securing our nation. Everything GTSC does is focused on improving the communication, networks, understanding, collaboration, and mutual respect among the public and private sector partners executing the vast and complex missions of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. I can’t think of a better place to spend my time giving back,” said Bob Lohfeld, Jr., CEO and Chief Coach, Sev1Tech and Chair of the GTSC Lion’s Den, members of the Coalition considered “mid-tier.”

The 2018 Annual Report catalogs the numerous programs, meetings, networking opportunities, and workgroups supported by the organization and the leaders and members shaping those activities.
