Allen Ashbey Becomes Vice President of Federal Civilian Sales at Lumen Technologies

Allen Ashbey has been appointed Vice President of Federal Civilian Sales at Lumen Technologies, where he will lead efforts to deliver advanced technology solutions that enhance mission outcomes for federal civilian agencies. With over 30 years of experience in digital transformation, IT security, technology integration, and federal communications, Ashbey brings a wealth of expertise to his new role.

Ashbey’s career is marked by his ability to drive strategic growth, manage large-scale portfolios, and foster high-performance teams. Before joining Lumen Technologies, he served as Vice President of Accounts for Citizen Services and Natural Resources at SAIC, overseeing a $200 million portfolio that included major federal clients such as the Departments of Commerce, Energy, Agriculture, and Interior, as well as the Environmental Protection Agency.

In previous roles, Ashbey held leadership positions at Unisys, where he managed a $100 million portfolio and grew the business by 300% over three years, securing a $110 million revenue backlog. At OnPoint, he rebuilt the company’s business development lifecycle and led successful pursuits with key agencies, including the Department of Energy and the State Department. His work at Sapient Government Services focused on advancing critical infrastructure projects and digital solutions for agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security and the Census Bureau.

A graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Ashbey has been recognized for his contributions to government contracting and technology integration, including being named ACT-IAC Industry Contributor of the Year in 2014.
