Cybermedia Technologies, LLC (CTEC) has appointed Audra Upchurch as its new Vice President of Homeland Security according to a post by Upchurch over on LinkedIn this week. In this role, Upchurch will lead the strategic direction, delivery, and growth of CTEC’s solutions within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), leveraging her extensive experience in federal government consulting and leadership.
A seasoned professional with more than two decades of experience, Upchurch brings a strong foundation in homeland security, infrastructure, and environmental programs. Her career, marked by a commitment to resilience, dedication, and innovative problem-solving, has been shaped by a passion for finding solutions, identifying leadership opportunities, and advocating for both team members and cutting-edge advancements.
Upchurch’s career progression is a testament to her commitment and hard work. Before joining CTEC, she held several leadership roles at LMI, including Vice President of Homeland Security and Director of Infrastructure, Energy, and Environment. Over her 10-year tenure at LMI, she rose through the ranks, making impactful contributions across multiple sectors. Prior to LMI, Upchurch worked as an Environmental Analyst at Leidos, where she focused on environmental programs and assessments. Her career in public service began in 1998 as a Seasonal Recreational Technician with the U.S. Forest Service.
Upchurch’s academic background includes an MBA in Business Administration and Management, both from Virginia Tech. Known as a proud Hokie, she remains actively involved in the Virginia Tech community, fostering connections and supporting fellow alumni.
