Previously serving as Assistant Special Agent in Charge for HSI Baltimore, Campanella has spent over 16 years at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in a variety of roles. His career includes experience as a Supervisory Special Agent and as the co-founder of the HSI Innovation Lab.
Campanella’s experience spans a wide range of complex investigations, including financial crimes, counterterrorism, and criminal investigations. He is known for his ability to leverage big data analytics in his investigative work, a skill that has been crucial in identifying vulnerabilities and preventing illicit activities.
Campanella holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Iona University, which has provided him with a strong foundation in understanding criminal behavior and psychology.
