Frank Landefeld Named President and CEO of BDO Public Sector

BDO Public Sector has appointed Frank Landefeld as its new President and CEO, a move that brings a seasoned leader with over 30 years of consulting and program delivery experience to the helm. Landefeld announced the news over on LinkedIn yesterday. Landefeld steps into this role with a vision to drive strategic growth, develop innovative solutions, and enhance service delivery for BDO’s federal, state, and local government clients.

In his new role, Landefeld will lead BDO Public Sector’s efforts across a range of initiatives, from business development and engagement delivery to long-term strategic planning. Under his leadership, BDO will continue working closely with federal, state, and local government leaders to improve operations and address critical issues facing public sector entities, including enhancing citizen services, bolstering national security, advancing the quality of life for veterans, and driving efficiencies in government operations.

With a broad background that spans North and South America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, Landefeld has managed high-impact advisory and consulting services for diverse clients in government as well as in sectors such as higher education, nonprofit, commercial retail, and telecommunications. His career includes leadership roles, such as Managing Principal for Public Sector at BDO USA, Managing Director at MorganFranklin Consulting, and Senior Manager at Grant Thornton LLP.
