GSA Makes Changes to Key IT Personnel

GSA has appointed Jessica Salmoiraghi as associate administrator for the Office of Government-wide Policy (OGP) and made some other key changes to IT personnel.

Salmoiraghi was previously director of federal agencies and international programs at the American Council of Engineering Companies. Before that, Salmoiraghi served as the director, federal relations and counsel, at the American Institute of Architects, where she drove the Institute’s advocacy and outreach efforts before the executive and legislative branches of the federal government. She also led activities focused on improving federal contracting for small, medium and large businesses.

FCW also reported a series of personnel changes revealed in an internal memo from General Services Administration Administrator Emily Murphy.

Enterprise Infrastructure Services contract Amanda Gavino will serve as director of information technology services in the Office of Information Technology Category.

Joanne Collins-Smee is now deputy commissioner of FAS and director of the Technology Transformation Services. She had been acting deputy commissioner of both.

Elizabeth Cain has been appointed as executive director for the Technology Modernization Fund. Previously, she served as a financial management analyst for the Office of the Chief Financial Officer.
