Guidehouse has appointed three seasoned national security and defense leaders to key roles within its Defense & Security segment according to a press release yesterday. Effective January 1, 2025, Shannon White will assume leadership of the segment, succeeding John Saad, who was recently named President of Guidehouse. Additionally, Chris Clarke and Bryan Miller have been appointed to leadership roles to align the firm’s strategy with evolving client needs.
Shannon White, a recognized leader in the national security space, will lead Guidehouse’s Defense & Security segment. White brings decades of experience delivering transformative solutions for federal agencies and driving mission-critical initiatives. She has been a key architect of Guidehouse’s growth, advancing the firm’s ability to address complex defense and security challenges. Under her leadership, the segment will focus on innovative strategies to enhance national security, defense readiness, and operational efficiency for public sector clients.
In her prior role, White successfully oversaw the Homeland Security & Law Enforcement practice, which now transitions to Chris Clarke. Clarke, a partner at Guidehouse with over 20 years of experience, will assume leadership of this practice. Clarke has played a pivotal role in supporting clients across the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Intelligence Community. He brings deep expertise in risk management, financial transformation, and strategic consulting, leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored solutions for public safety and law enforcement missions.
Bryan Miller has been appointed to lead the newly formed Defense, Diplomacy, & Intel (DDI) practice, a consolidation of the firm’s Defense & Intelligence and Diplomacy & Development practices. Miller, a partner at Guidehouse with over 20 years of experience, has been instrumental in delivering transformative supply chain, strategy, and modernization programs for the U.S. Government. Combining these practices will allow Guidehouse to provide a more unified and cohesive approach to interconnected missions across defense, diplomacy, and intelligence operations.
“This new structure strengthens our capabilities and provides a more cohesive approach to serving these interconnected client missions,” said John Saad. “Chris and Bryan are remarkable leaders with unmatched expertise in navigating the complexities of public safety and national security. We congratulate them on these new roles and are confident they will drive tremendous value for our clients and teams.”
