Jennifer Augustine has taken on a new role at the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), serving as Senior Advisor in the J6 Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) Enterprise Directorate.
Augustine brings more than 25 years of experience spanning DoD information technology, acquisition and contracting, workforce management, logistics, financial resources, and human capital development.
She has spent more than 15 years at DISA, most recently serving as Human Capital Management IT Modernization Senior Advisor. Prior to that, she was Director of Strategic Outreach and Talent Acquisition.
Augustine has also served as DISA’s Deputy Chief Information Officer and Senior Component Official for Privacy. Earlier assignments included Special Assistant to the Executive Deputy Director, Director of J4 Logistics for Joint Force Headquarters–DoDIN, and senior leadership roles in workforce management, manpower, procurement, and contracting.
Before joining DISA, Augustine held senior contracting and project management roles with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Internal Revenue Service, and Army and Navy acquisition organizations.
