K2, Inc. announced the appointment of Bruce Neiswender as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) yesterday. Neiswender has been with the company for 29 years and has held several prominent positions on the executive team, including Chief Operating Officer. He brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record to his new role.
Neiswender succeeds K2 founder Paul Krogh, who will serve as Chairman of the Board. Under Krogh’s leadership, the company has grown from four employees to 70 and has achieved an 18% annual increase in revenue. He will continue to focus on client relations and when needed, lend his extensive subject matter expertise in planning, scheduling, cost and risk management, and claims avoidance and resolution.
In his new capacity as CEO, Neiswender will focus on guiding the company through its next phase of growth, fostering innovation, strengthening partnerships, enhancing stakeholder value. He will be responsible for strategic plan execution, operations, profitability, and employee engagement.
A graduate of Randolph Macon College, with additional studies at Harvard Law School, Neiswender has been certified by the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACEi) as a Certified Cost Professional (CCP) and Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP).
