There, she managed field investigators and oversaw investigations into high-stakes allegations affecting students and staff.
Her career began with the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, where she spent four years as a police officer before joining the FBI. Across her career, Castro developed expertise in law enforcement, crisis management, and investigative oversight.
