Matt Treadgold has announced his new role as Vice President of Cyber and Resiliency at MetaPhase Consulting where he will be responsible for people, growth and P&L lead for FEMA and CISA portfolios.
Before joining MetaPhase, Treadgold held several prominent positions at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), where he served as Senior Program Director for Cyber, Law Enforcement, Intelligence, and Citizenship. His career at GDIT included key leadership responsibilities for accounts with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). In these roles, Treadgold directed cybersecurity and resilience programs supporting government operations and missions. He also held positions as Senior Director and Director of Strategy and Business Development at GDIT, focusing on creating strategic initiatives and expanding business development in cybersecurity and intelligence sectors.
Treadgold’s background also includes significant contributions in both public and private sectors. He served as a Director at Eagle Hill Consulting. His public sector experience includes roles at the U.S. Department of State as a Field Team Engagement Advisor and Foreign Affairs Officer. Working within the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs and the Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations, he contributed to conflict mitigation efforts and the advancement of U.S. strategic interests abroad.
Treadgold holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs with a focus on Conflict and Security Studies from The George Washington University. His academic foundation, combined with years of experience in cybersecurity and national resilience, has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of both domestic and international security issues.
