Matthew Hudak Joins Border Patrol Museum Board of Trustees

Matthew Hudak, a highly respected executive with over 26 years of service in U.S. Border Patrol and extensive experience in federal law enforcement leadership, announced on LinkedIn that he has joined the Board of Trustees of the Border Patrol Museum. This role marks another chapter in his commitment to supporting the legacy and mission of the Border Patrol, an organization he has dedicated much of his professional life to serving.

Hudak brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to the museum’s board. As a former Deputy Chief of the U.S. Border Patrol, he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 20,000-employee organization, a role akin to Chief Operating Officer. His work included oversight of law enforcement operations, mission readiness, budget management, personnel development, and the strategic deployment of resources and technologies. Hudak played a pivotal role in guiding the agency through critical incidents and periods of intense public scrutiny, demonstrating his ability to lead in complex and dynamic environments.

In addition to his time as Deputy Chief, Hudak also served as Acting Deputy Director at the Department of Homeland Security in 2016. Following his retirement from federal service, Hudak founded MH Secure Strategies, where he provides strategic consulting to security and government support industries, leveraging his decades of experience in organizational growth, operational strategy, and technology integration.

The Border Patrol Museum, located in El Paso, Texas, is dedicated to preserving and honoring the history, heritage, and service of the U.S. Border Patrol. Hudak’s extensive career and deep understanding of the Border Patrol’s mission make him an invaluable addition to the museum’s board.
