Octo Consulting Group, Inc. (Octo), a premier next-generation IT Federal services provider, has been awarded a spot on the Army’s Cloud Computing Enterprise Transformation (ACCENT) Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA). This award expands Octo’s cloud and infrastructure core service offerings deeper into the Department of Defense (DoD).
As a core component of the Army’s Data Center Consolidation Plan (ADCCP), ACCENT enables application owners to acquire commercial cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS), infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), and platform-as-a-service (PaaS) products, and provides transition support for the migration of enterprise applications to modern cloud architectures. ACCENT allows customers to access cloud service providers (CSPs) from proven government contractors that can provide the necessary consulting and orchestration services to enable seamless transition.
“We are elated to have the ability to support the Army and the DoD speed their cloud adoption and leverage Octo’s world class cloud migration and engineering capabilities through the ACCENT BOA,” said Mehul Sanghani, Octo’s CEO. “As a firm we are focused on helping the Federal Government modernize its legacy infrastructure and speed its adoption of next generation IT solutions. We see ACCENT as another way for us to continue that mission. Most importantly, we look forward to expanding our support of our warfighters at home and overseas.”
