Owen Paun has taken on a new role as Director of Business Development at Serco, a global provider of professional, technology, and management services. Paun shared the news on LinkedIn, expressing his enthusiasm for the position and the opportunity to continue serving the federal civilian space.
Paun wrote, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Director of Business Development at Serco! For the past several years, I have been delivering high-quality solutions to government clients at DHS (CISA) and Interior and have learned about the unique challenges facing our diligent public servants. I’m excited for the opportunity to continue to serve by helping Serco provide expanded support to the numerous needs in the Federal Civilian space.”
With 16 years of experience in program management and federal sales, Paun brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. He has successfully managed a qualified pipeline of over $100 million and handled all parts of the business development and capture lifecycle on opportunities exceeding $25 million. His experience includes working in seven countries, supervising a team of 55 staff members, and managing a $1 billion Single Award IDIQ.
Before joining Serco, Paun worked at Guidehouse as the Manager for Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure, where he supported the Department of the Interior’s Great American Outdoors Act Legacy Restoration Fund PMO. He also served as the Manager for Defense & Security Segment (Cybersecurity), providing solutions for the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).
Paun’s extensive background in delivering successful outcomes for clients such as DHS, DOS, USAID, NED, and the U.S. Senate makes him a valuable addition to Serco. His new role will involve driving business development efforts and expanding Serco’s support for federal civilian agencies.
