Paul Bean Joins United States Digital Service as Acquisition Strategist

Paul Bean has joined the United States Digital Service (USDS) as an Acquisition Strategist. USDS, a team within the federal government focused on improving public services through modern technology, gains Bean’s expertise in federal procurement and contracting.

Bean brings a strong background in federal acquisitions, developed through previous roles across multiple government agencies. Most recently, he served as a Procurement Analyst at the U.S. Department of State. Before this, Bean worked as a Contracting Officer with both the United States Marine Corps and the U.S. Department of Education, where he managed contracts aligned with mission-critical operations. He began his federal career as a Contract Specialist at the Department of Homeland Security.

In addition to his professional experience, Bean holds a Master’s degree in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government. He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Political Science from Virginia Tech, further enhancing his understanding of global and domestic policy landscapes.
