
Jamie Ritchie, Assistant Chief Information Officer at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, has become a member of the Airports AI Alliance, bringing nearly 25 years of experience in information technology and airport systems.
Ritchie currently supports IT strategy, infrastructure, and innovation across the City of Phoenix Aviation Department’s three-airport system. His role includes oversight of critical technology environments that support day-to-day airport operations and passenger services.
He has spent more than 18 years at Phoenix Sky Harbor, progressing through a range of leadership and technical roles. Most recently, he was named Assistant CIO after serving in the role on an interim basis. His previous positions include Interim Deputy CIO, Computer Information Systems Manager, and Lead Information Technology Systems Specialist.
In those roles, Ritchie managed a wide portfolio of operational systems, including passenger processing platforms, video surveillance, parking revenue and control systems, emergency communications, and radio infrastructure. His work has focused on maintaining reliability and performance across systems that are central to airport security, safety, and efficiency.
Earlier in his career, Ritchie held GIS and technology roles with the City of Phoenix, building a foundation in infrastructure and data systems that has carried through his work in aviation.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in geography with a focus on geographic information systems from Arizona State University.
