Raiza Basilio Joins US AI as Vice President, Federal

Raiza Basilio has joined US AI as Vice President, Federal, bringing over 16 years of experience in government contracting, data science, and cutting-edge IT programs. Known for her innovative leadership and deep understanding of federal technology needs, Basilio is poised to lead US AI’s efforts in expanding its presence and delivering advanced artificial intelligence solutions to federal agencies.

Basilio’s career trajectory reflects a wealth of experience in public sector technology and government contracting. Her journey began with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), where she worked on implementing the Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) help desk initiative, a program critical to standardizing secure and reliable forms of identification for federal employees and contractors.

She subsequently supported the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for six years, where she applied her expertise in data science to drive impactful programs. Transitioning to IBM, Basilio held roles in both the consulting and technology divisions. As a principal, she managed IBM’s largest federal account, focusing on software, hardware sales, and delivery while spearheading transformative IT initiatives.

Prior to joining US AI, Basilio served as Vice President for the Citizen Service & Defense (CS&D) portfolio at Steampunk. In this capacity, she led innovative IT programs and brought her unique expertise in technology strategy and client relations to the forefront, contributing to significant organizational growth and impact.

Basilio is a graduate of George Mason University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications and Information Science.
