Suzie Rizzo has joined Acuity, Inc. as Managing Director of National Security, a move she announced on LinkedIn. Based in Reston, Va., she brings more than two decades of leadership experience in homeland security, technology, and federal program delivery.
Rizzo most recently served as Director of Technology and Data Services at the Center for Devices and Radiological Health. Prior to that, she held a series of senior leadership roles at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), including Acting Deputy Division Chief for Systems Delivery, Chief of Agile Coaching and Testing, and Section Chief for Independent Test and Evaluation at the Department of Homeland Security.
Earlier in her career, Rizzo built a foundation in technology and program management as a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton and American Management Systems.
A graduate of James Madison University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a focus on information systems security, Rizzo brings both technical and operational expertise to her new role as well as a strong background in all things DHS.
