The Business Analyst will work with the Project Manager and the client business owner to define the scope of a project / release, develop requirement documents, use cases, activity diagrams, flowcharts, and supplemental specifications to describe the application requirements to support the project scope. Additional responsibilities include:
Leading the interaction with various business stakeholders to gather, organize, and evaluate business requirements
Documenting and reviewing the business requirements with various business and technology stakeholders
Converting requirements into User Stories
Coordinating with various business groups and technology groups and derive business solutions
Preparing process mapping artifacts, test plan, test cases, and develop use cases
Coordinating and performing user acceptance testing
Assist the development team in debugging and reproducing reported issues
Test Internet and client-server applications against specifications and documentation
2+ years of Business Analyst experience (junior) or 4+ years experience (mid-level).
Experienced with Requirements Gathering and Documentation and translating business use cases to technical requirements documentation
Experience with Agile / Scrum methodology
Experience creating user stories for Agile development projects using tools such as Jira or Rational Jazz.
Experience with business requirements gathering, analysis and evaluation
Experience working with developers during systems design and development activities
Experience supporting Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions
Experience utilizing various requirements elicitation techniques
Strong oral and written communication skills and a proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
Experience with analyzing requirements as related to custom developed solutions using Microsoft technologies (.NET, SharePoint, SSRS)
Experience working with federal government customers.
Active federal government public trust clearance.
