Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of Business Analyst. The selected individual will join a collaborative team environment and contribute to the project goals by working the following:

•Liaison with the customer, conducting meetings to understand the requirements for the project and making sure they are documented.
•Support the analysis and artifacts related to relocations (Radio Frequencies)
•Ensure requirements are appropriately translated and monitored
•Ability to effectively communicate with client on a regular basis
•Support financial analysis and budget formulation.
•Research, analyze, distill and present budget information
•Collate input from staff members to produce clear, concise and impactful data.
•Enter budgetary data into a variety of forms, schedules, and reports and prepare a variety of reports including the status of funds, expenses, and obligations.
•Compile and coordinate the presentation materials for assigned areas of the budget.
•Minimum 5 years generalized IT experience.
•Minimum 3 years of specialized radio frequency experience.
•Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline, or relevant related work experience
•Experience within the Federal Law Enforcement Community
•Good knowledge of federal project management policies and processes
◦Working knowledge of wireless, microwave networks, and propagation analysis. Mesh radio network experience is preferred.
◦Working knowledge of video cameras, configurations, standards, codes, etc.
◦Video Management System experience preferred.
◦Knowledge of basic networking – Switch, router configurations.
◦Network planning and spectrum planning experience preferred.
◦Experience with research and development, testing and evaluation, and creating test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
◦Willingness to travel and be able to problem solve and troubleshoot issues to meet mission requirements on the road.
◦Be able to lift 50lbs.
◦Be able to climb ladders.
◦Experience with basic hand tools, power tools, cable construction tools (RF and Network cables), and soldering tools.
◦Willingness to work weekends, holidays, long shifts in support of major events.
◦Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must obtain a writing sample.
◦Excellent organizational skills.
◦Be able to speak and present material in front of the customer.
◦Procurement experience – Experience with writing Statement of Requirements/Work, drafting Internal Government Cost Estimates, performing Market Research, and creating Justifications.
◦Experience in creating Standard Operating Procedures, Quick Start Guides, User Manuals, etc preferred.
◦Experience in drafting After Action Reports and/or Lessons Learned documents preferred.
◦Working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.
•Must be a U.S. Citizen.
