Technology Security Associates, Inc. seeking a Cyber Operations Analyst to support our NAVAIR customer. The successful candidate will work with a team of professionals to develop Cybersecurity plans and procedures as well as respond to Cyber incidents.
Job responsibilities include identifying, analyzing, and mitigating threats to enterprise information systems. Candidate will be responsible for investigating and analyzing response activities related to cyber incidents within the enterprise and for correlating incident data, and for performing and reporting Computer Network Defense (CND) trend analysis. Candidate will also be responsible for implementing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and administering the infrastructure supporting the information system. This may include, but is not limited to, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) products and other CND tools as required. Candidate will develop and maintain system documentation as it pertains to CND capabilities and their implementation.
The position requires 5 to 12 years of experience supporting Department of Defense networks and/or weapon systems analyzing information security requirements and conducting security assessments.
Prior experience with NAVAIR Cybersecurity policy and processes preferred. Knowledge of DoD 8500 series and CNSSI 1253 desirable.
Bachelor’s Degree from an institution accredited by a US Department of Education in approved agency. In lieu of degree, pertinent work experience may be substituted.
Position requires an appropriate and current DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification to be considered for employment; valid CompTIA Security+ CE, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)-Security. CompTIA Security+ CE Certification is the preferred certification.
An active TOP SECRET clearance is required. Applicant selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Occasional CONUS travel may be required.
