FireEye Promotes Craig Mueller to Vice President of Federal Sales

FireEye, Inc., the intelligence-led security company, today announced that Craig Mueller will oversee federal sales as vice president. Mueller will report to Pat Sheridan, vice president of U.S. Public Sector.

In his role as vice president of Federal Sales, Mueller will be responsible for defining, growing and executing the sales strategy for FireEye’s U.S. federal government sector, which includes federal civilian, defense, and intelligence agencies.

“FireEye’s innovative technology, industry leading threat intelligence, and world-class expertise offers our federal customers extensive capabilities that help provide significant defenses against today’s emerging cyber threats,” said Mueller. “FireEye is committed to helping safeguard our customers critical assets by utilizing the years of experience we’ve had combatting the attackers on the front lines, and I am proud to continue this mission, supporting the needs of our federal clients.”

Mueller has more than 20 years of experience supporting federal and defense sales in telecommunications, networking and security. Prior to joining FireEye in 2014, Mueller held a number of management roles at companies including, BMC Software, BladeLogic, and Cisco Systems.
